We often struggle with figuring out what is our actual shoe size. Sometimes you can be a different size with different shoes within the same brand.
So when you are doing your shoe sizing please make sure that you are fully weight-bearing. You always want 3/8 to 5/8 of an inch from your longest toe to the end of the shoe. This gives a little bit of space for your foot to slide forward and gives way to any swelling.
When it comes to width, if there is any bulging on the outside of the shoe then maybe your shoe might be too narrow. Or if you see a bunching of the fabric then the shoe might be too wide for you. Call Burlington Orthotic Centre today at 905-331-4391 to get a proper sizing for your shoes.
